RETURNS AND COMPLAINTS

This returns and complaints policy has been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Act No. 40/1964 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”), and applies to goods for which the buyer exercises rights arising from liability for defects during the warranty period (hereinafter referred to as a “complaint”) and which were purchased by the buyer (a consumer within the meaning of Section 52 paragraph 3 of Act No. 40/1964 Coll., as amended) from the seller (Jan Chitov, ID No. 18017819, registered office Nad Vápenkou 373, 250 84, Křenice).

Complaints

1 . A complaint must be filed without undue delay immediately after the defect appears. Any delay caused by continued use of the goods may result in worsening of the defect and subsequent depreciation of the goods, which may be grounds for rejection of the complaint.

2 . The warranty period for goods is 24 months and begins on the day the goods are received.

3 . The warranty period must not be confused with the service life of the goods, meaning the period during which the goods may last, given their properties, intended purpose, and intensity of use, when properly used and maintained.

4 . If the buyer discovers after receiving the goods that the goods do not correspond to the ordered goods or show a defect, the buyer must immediately inform the seller by email or telephone, no later than 5 days after receipt of the goods.

5 . If a defect occurs in the purchased goods, the customer has the right to file a complaint regarding the defect.

6 . A defect means a change in the properties of the goods caused by the use of unsuitable or poor-quality material, failure to comply with the manufacturing process, or an unsuitable design solution.

7 . A defect is not considered to be a change in the properties of the goods that occurs during the warranty period as a result of wear and tear, improper use, insufficient or unsuitable maintenance, natural changes in the materials from which the goods are made, damage caused by the user or a third party, or any other improper interference.

8 . A complaint is considered duly filed if the complained goods are complete and general hygiene principles do not prevent processing the complaint. The customer must submit the complained goods cleaned, free of all dirt, and hygienically safe. The seller has the right to refuse to accept goods for complaint handling if they do not meet the above hygiene requirements.

9 . The complaint, including removal of the defect, will be handled without undue delay, no later than 30 days from the date the complaint is filed.

10 . The customer files a complaint by sending the goods together with a completed complaint form and a copy of the proof of purchase (invoice) to the address: Jan Chitov, Nad Vápenkou 373, 250 84, Křenice.

Procedure for filing a complaint

1 . Clean the complained goods (see point 8 above).

2 . Pack the cleaned goods so that they are not damaged during transport. A box is recommended; it does not have to be the original packaging. Enclose a copy of the invoice.

3 . Send the complained goods via postal service to the address: Jan Chitov, Nad Vápenkou 373, 250 84, Křenice. We recommend insuring the shipment for the value of the goods.

4 . We offer the option to return goods at our expense via the Packeta service. If you wish to use this option, please contact us at jeblytrika@gmail.com. After receiving your request, we will send you a return label.

Do not send goods cash on delivery. Such shipments will not be accepted.

Once the complained goods are received, you will be informed by email and the 30-day period for handling the complaint begins (or a longer period if agreed). You will be informed about all important steps of the complaint process by email or telephone.

Returns

Withdrawal from the contract (return of goods) is possible within 14 days without giving a reason. The 14-day period begins on the day when the customer or a third party designated by the customer (other than the carrier) takes over the goods.

The goods must not be worn and must be returned in their original undamaged condition, including all accessories and documentation. If the goods are not returned in a condition corresponding to their original condition upon delivery, the refunded amount may be reduced accordingly.

The money for returned goods will be refunded by bank transfer to the customer’s bank account specified in the return request.

These terms take effect on 6 February 2023.
